App Blocker: Focus & Limits lets you block distracting apps on iPhone & iPad — without ever digging through Settings. Private by design. No accounts. No tracking.
Built on Apple's FamilyControls & DeviceActivity — the same engine behind Screen Time, with a far simpler experience.
Shield any app the moment a rule is active. Tap to focus — the app is sealed behind a shield until you say otherwise.
Give an app a budget — 1 to 240 minutes a day. When the time's up, it locks automatically until tomorrow.
Block apps during work, study, or sleep — and pick exactly which days the rule applies. Weekends off? Done.
The commitment device: while a strict rule is blocking, it can't be paused, edited, or deleted. No cheating, no way out.
Really need that app? Take a 15-minute break right from the block screen — then the shield comes back on its own.
A beautiful branded block screen in your theme's colors — with your own motivational message on it.
Build a daily focus streak, unlock achievement badges, and celebrate milestones all the way to a full year. A streak freeze forgives one off-day; an optional evening reminder is the app's only notification. Your status lives on the Home and Lock Screen too.
Choose individual apps, whole categories or websites through Apple's secure picker — blocked categories cover their web versions too. Your choices never leave the device.
No backend, no accounts, no analytics. Your app selections stay on your iPhone — always.
A one-time, on-device permission. No sign-up, no email required.
Select the apps or categories you want to keep in check.
Block now, set a daily limit, or schedule a time window. Done.
The app stays shielded for as long as the rule is on.
The app locks once you cross your chosen minutes for the day.
The app is blocked between the start and end times you set.
Blocked for the whole window — and a daily budget that keeps counting all day. Cross it, and the app stays locked until midnight.
Go yearly and save 58% — that's just €1.67/month. Cancel anytime, restores automatically on every device with your Apple ID.
App Blocker is built privacy-first. We literally cannot see your data — there is no server to send it to.
None. App Blocker has no servers and no accounts. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The apps and categories you choose are represented by Apple's opaque, on-device tokens via the FamilyControls framework. These tokens are stored only in a private App Group container on your device. They are never readable by us and never leave your iPhone or iPad.
App Blocker requests Screen Time (Family Controls) authorization solely to apply your blocking rules on-device using Apple's ManagedSettings and DeviceActivity frameworks. Usage data processed by these frameworks stays on your device and is never shared with us or any third party.
So your progress and setup aren't lost if you reinstall or switch devices, a few focus stats (streak, best streak, lifetime blocks, milestones) and your rule settings (each rule's name, schedule, and limit) can back up to your own private iCloud. It lives under your Apple ID, we can never see it, your app selections are never included (so restored rules keep their settings but you re-pick the apps), and you can switch it off in Settings → Backup.
Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit and the App Store. We never see your payment details. Your entitlement is verified directly with Apple, restores automatically on devices signed into the same Apple ID, and can be cancelled anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
We do not use any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics services. Nothing is shared with anyone.
App Blocker is a focus and productivity tool. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
